Dr Matthew J Hope

Originally from the UK, Dr Hope studied medicine at Edinburgh University where he also gained his Orthopaedic Fellowship. After moving to Queensland he also passed his Australian Fellowship exams.
In 2018 he was made Chair of the RACS Trauma Committee.
Dr Hope is a qualified Independent Medical Examiner (IME).
Dr Hope is a highly qualified and skilled specialist in adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgery, specialising in foot and ankle surgery. He was the first surgeon in Australia to implant a
titanium 3D-printed talus (ankle bone).
